How many people can sleep in the Villa?
The Villa has 4 suites with queen beds accommodating 4 couples
If an in house chef has been booked then only 3 suites are available ie 3 couples as the chef will stay in the one suite
In addition there is a queen murphy bed in the lounge for another couple and 2 camp beds
What is the minimum number of days we can boat a trip for?
4 Nights - We suggest 7 days to get into the rhythm of things as 4 nights may not be enough
What is the cost per person per day?
The cost is for the entire trip so the more people there are the cheaper it is per person

The cost per night for the entire trip is thus USD$3000 per day which includes the boat, skipper and usage of our villa
What airlines fly to Fiji?
Fiji Airways flies from various US cities direct to Nadi as well as from Hawaii
Fiji Airways also fly from Australia and New Zealand
Qantas, Jetstar and Virgin all fly from Australia
Air New Zealand flies from New Zealand
Are Transfers included in our booking price?
THE TRANSFERS TO AND FROM THE ISLAND ARE NOT INCLUDED IN YOUR BOOKING PRICE

What happens when we arrive at the airport?
Nadi Airport arrival before lunchtime
You will be met at the airport by our driver who will hold up a sign with your parties' name
Our driver will take you shopping (if required) and then to your island transfer
The pickup from the airport will be paid directly by the guests to the driver
A pickup from the airport and shopping trip will typically cost FJD$200
Nadi Airport arrival after lunchtime
You will be met at the airport by our driver who will hold up a sign with your parties' name
Our driver will take you to your hotel and pick you up the next day to take you to your island transfer
If you need to go shopping for supplies this can be facilitated at any time before you go to the island
The pickup from the airport will be paid directly by the guests to the driver
A pickup from the airport and shopping trip will typically cost FJD$200
What if we want to do shopping for our stay?
It is recommended that you purchase as many supplies as you need for your stay on the island, on the mainland
There is a fresh fruit and vegetable market in Nadi as well as various supermarkets
New World and Fresh Choice are good supermarkets with Fresh choice being more upmarket
We can also arrange a shop for you prior to your arrival
There is a store on musket cove where basics can be replenished
The store at Vunabaka requires an account be opened and the prices are better and the variety greater at musket cove
How do we get to the Villa?
Our villa is located on Malolo island, about an hour boat ride from Denerau port which is the main ferry port in Nadi
Our Boat can transport you from Denerau to Malolo
Cost :As you have rented the boat for your trip, the only cost is the petrol for the run to and from the island which is about $450
Pros : Convenient,No waiting,Private, Door to Door
Cons : Can be rougher than the Ferry in bad weather; Limit 10 guests;
Ferry to Musket Cove from Port Denerau
The Malolo Cat ferry runs from Denerau to Musket Cove resort a few times daily
You can get tickets at Port Denerau or Book online
Our boat will fetch you at Musket Cove and transport you to the villa

Helicopter
We recommend Island Hoppers helicopter services who can transport you to the helipad which is located near our villa
You will be picked up at the helipad by our Villa transport
Cost - About $400 pp one way

Cons : Waiting; Leaves on a set schedule; Expensive; Luggage limited
You may have to send your luggage on the ferry if it does not fit on the helicopter
Is a liability waiver required?
A liability waiver will be required upon arriva
Is a Security Deposit required
A refundable security deposit will be reserved upon arrival
What Villa Facilities are available to guests
The Villa is located in the Vunabaka development which consists of the Six Senses Hotel, the Marina and a number of private residences of which the Villa is one
The villa is there for your enjoyment and you are welcome to use all of it's facilities
Please be mindful of the environment and keep all doors closed when using the air conditioning
The ceiling fans use less greenhouse gasses and will not deplete our solar as quickly as air conditioning
Please consider all the other residents of the development which may include homeowners and guests of the hotel
Is the beach available to Villa guests
The beach is a public beach and is available for your swimming pleasure
Are the Buggies able to be ridden by Villa guests
The buggies are NOT to be driven by the guests unless prior arrangement has been made as they can be extremely hazardous on the steep hills resulting in potentially serious injuries. All speed limit signs must be obeyed.
Are the Bikes able to be ridden by Villa guests
The bicycles are available to be ridden but care must be taken as the roads are steep and speed limits, which exist on all the roads, must be obeyed
Are the Hotel facilities available to Villa guests
The Villa guests DO NOT have an automatic right to use the hotel facilities at this point in time
The hotels right of admission is determined by the hotel at this point in time
Villa guests are not,, by default, admitted to the hotel unless by arrangement with the hotel
If guests of the Villa wish to avail themselves of the hotel facilities, this must be done directly with the hotel management and staff
As the hotel caters for it's guests primarily, there is no guarantee that the hotel will permit Villa guests to use hotel facilities including the restaurants, pool and bars
It is better to assume that the hotel will be full and that guests will NOT be permitted to use hotel facilities
The Tennis Court is shared between the Villas and the hotel and the Hotel manages the court bookings
What time can we play music until?
Please keep noise levels to a minimum and switch off all music by 10pm in accpordance with body corporate rules
Can we use the Villa's Pool, Spa and Cold Pool?
Yes
The house pool does not have a fence and nor does the spa.
Children must be accompanied by adults at all times whilst at the pool or spa
The cold pool usage should be confined to people who do not have health risks associated with immersion in extreme cold temperatures
Can we use the Tennis Court
The tennis court is available for you to play tennis
If you wish to book the court - please do so at Hotel reception
What if we want an in house In house Chef to cater for us
An in house chef can be arranged for parties of up to 6
The chef will be located on site in the hideaway suite (which is away from the main house)
The means that only 3 suites are available for guests with this arrangement
The chef will only use the kitchen to cook and will not use any of the main facilities
The chef will cater 3 meals a day and cook based on a menu which will be pre arranged
The cost of the chef will be $500 a day for 3 meals
The guests will also pay for the ingredients based on the menu options chosen

How do we go surfing?
Every morning our boat captain will take you surfing once he arrives at the Villa
The boat captain arrives at approximately 8am at the Villa with the village boat
If you wish for the boat captain to arrive earlier - you can make direct arrangements with him
The village boat leaves the island at 5pm and so the captain will return by then
Once again if you wish to make arrangements for the captain to stay later then please do so directly
During the day the captain will take you to your surf spot of choice
He can take you from spot to spot but he is in charge of the vessel and passenger safety at all times
The captain will not partake in any dangerous activities under any circumstances or put anyonne at risk
What if we want a surf guide/instructor?

What if we want a water photographer?
This can be arranged please look at our options on the website under our activities page
What diving options are available from the boat?
We have snorkelling gear on board as well as 4 full tive tanks with BCDs
Any diving with tanks can only be done with a PADI qualification unless you wish to book a diving instructor
Dive tanks will be supplied full and must be returned full
Tanks can be filled on Musket Cove dive shop
If a dive instructor is required please look at our options on the website under our activities page
What fishing options are available from the boat?
The boat does not have any fishing gear on board so please bring all your own rods and tackle
The boat is however equipped with fish finder sonar and electronics to assist you with your fishing
A fishing guide who knows the waters around Malolo can be hired

What eating and drinking options do we have in the area?
There are numerous bars, restaurants and resorts in the area that can all be reached by boat
